Synchronicity

When I took the leap last year and signed up to attend Squam, the class that I was the most excited about was one on book-binding.  I was quite disappointed when, about a month later, I learned that this class had been cancelled.  After some juggling though, I decided on a painting class with Misty Mawn which ended up being a fantastic, eye-opening experience for me.

There a so many possibilities in paint... so much to explore, and I loved it all.  So anyway, here I am, several months later and my exploration has led me to Misty's online class.  Today was my first day to check out the pre-class material which contains tutorials on book-binding!  So, to come full circle, today I explored that original intention and made a book...

I did not think about the connection until I was finished... and I have been smiling ever since.  This was a nice, meditative project and I really can not wait to start filling it with new explorations!

Last day

It really feels like a great accomplishment to have reached the end of the month of creativity.  I have learned a great deal this month and am thinking about how I am going to continue this going forward... My last creation is the cover of the notebook that was filled during the course of this month!
